Who is Autumn?
Where are you from?
I was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada but grew up in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies in Alberta. After nearly two years of living on the road all over North America from way up north in Haida Gwaii to way down south in Michoacan, Mexico, I have settled into a conventional house again on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada in a small beach town called White Rock.
What is your dream job?
That's a tough one! In many ways, I feel like I'm already doing it. I work as an outdoor adventure and lifestyle photographer and am also a freelance editor and writer. My dream is to combine my skills as a visual and written storyteller to tell stories related to climate change. Specifically, I want to focus on the impact climate catastrophes have on women in marginalized communities and to allow these women's voices to be heard on a global scale. I also would like to work more steadily in ocean conservation out here on the British Columbia coast. I'm working towards my divemaster certification so that I can pursue more underwater photography and filmmaking.
